There is proof of our greatness. We were, we are, we forever will be great. The history books can be toyed with but the spirit will never die. Egypt, the great Sudan, huge Mali, Somalia; all great economic and social blocs of old. No matter how split the great blocs of old are; Africa is spiritual, the spirit doesn’t die. Africa will never be forgotten, its not idealistic, its just real.
All the world does is leech of Africa. Don’t tell me about Aid, Multi and Transnational firms make an estimated $200 billion in profits annually; the handout of $100 million doesn’t fool anybody.
There is no one trying to really help Africa, its all about getting as much as they can, while they can. The best strongest Africans were ferried 500 years ago leaving an economic gap in Africa as well as a loss of culture. None is talking about that. The best Africa Economic minds and inventors are enticed to relocate to 1st world nations. No one is trying to give back to Africa, they just taking from her. The rape is consistent and more painful every day. When we make a little bit of money, we relocate, once we study to an extent, we are taken away, when we are most talented in an area of expertise, we seek opportunities abroad. Granted, Africa is not in a very good state, but granted, if we ignore Africa, We will lose our homes, cultures, identities and Africanness. Africa must survive. We must do something. This book is me playing my part, what are you doing?
We need structural reorganization. A united Africa is key. Rest in Peace Ghadaffi, defender of the Congo, Rest in Peace Patrice Lumumba, Julius Nyerere, Father of Tanzania, Thomas Sankara, Sleep Well. We keep your dreams alive, watch over us, casualties of the African Dream.
Steel from Tanzania, Crude Oil and Gas From Nigeria, Diamonds from Sierra leone, Gold From the Gold Coast, Timber from the Congo, it should be easy to build a new united Africa. We should assume higher African esteems, embrace our possibilities and meet visitors at the gate.
How much more can we take, everything that we have, we had to fight to take it. We ask to get more of what we deserve, a more even negotiation stance for resources we possess which the world needs. We ask for more from the Chinese, Europe, America and Back Stabbing Africans. We ask our Africans leaders to carry out their political mandates in representing Africa genuinely and less selfishly. Investments in Infrastructure, installation of an African identity, grooming the next generation of African children to defend our beloved continent; Africa has no friends, our hospitality trait is taken for granted; 500 years ago and today. We will make Africa great Again.
The realization that we have a problem to deal with still non existent in Africa. Africa is young and a bit naive in relation to international law, modes of conduct, business, trade, politics, economics and just about all aspects of globalization. We have borrowed billions of dollars from international bodies, foreign nations, local and international lenders on incredible terms; the effect of it being the economic slavery of descendants of Africans unborn. Conscience and justice thrown to the winds by negotiators and slavers. They say we are being helped to grow and develop, Africans were oblivious of the real intent of the persons on the other side of the table. We might have sent representatives who spoke on our behalf, but the economic and educational disadvantage to us as a continent breeds that we might have been taken advantage off.
It might not happen soon but eventually it will. Our ancestors will look down from heaven and smile for our generation will make them proud. We must succeed, the cost of not succeeding is grave. If Africans believe we are under-performing right now, what would be the state of Africa if our generation fails in its responsibility of taking our home continent to the next level.
Arise Africans and Make Africa Great Again.
