Apparently from one of shares, I received a message regarding if I
had any pictures of poverty and shacks during my journey. ..
I answered back
I don't work for CNN nor do I work for the Red Cross . I've seen more homeless people here in the U.S. only 1 hr after reentry than I've seen in the last 8 months in Africa and I've been in ALL KINDS neighborhoods.
It would be a major disservice to the people I've met ( Family ) to continue to perpetuate image of Africa being a world of poverty.
The people in Africa don't glorify their kins who are misfortuned instead they help, they share, they feed, and uplift then walk away as that person rises FROM THEIR OWN POCKETS without looking for praise. They respect HUMANITY.
I DON'T DO POVERTY PORN.
I'll get into the business of poverty porn and the NGOs who profit from it later.
